Back in 2010 Suparna decided to change her life. Still unsure what this change would look like she took her first steps and travelled to India.
Being back in her home country was just the breathing space she needed to reconnect with old friends and family and more importantly with herself.
India is an exciting place to be as there is a spirit of great dynamism and growth in the air. Through her experiences working there she realized that there was a huge pool of highly intelligent, educated and talented professionals out there. She wanted to help these leaders of the future develop and hone their skills, become leaders within themselves and so set up a program of workshops to enable them do this.
For the first time in her life she knew what it was to experience fulfillment at work. The idea of using her skills and knowledge to help others make the most of their lives instantly captivated her.
A crucial element of her training was experiencing first-hand the transformative power of being coached. Her own personal journey of self-discovery started with the realization that in order to gain more meaning in her life, she had to take a step back, connect with her-Self, in order to find out what was really important.
Changing her life for the better was the most exhilarating thing she has ever done, and like anything worth having, it wasn’t achieved overnight. The journey continues. The hard work is worth it because the process proved to her that when a true desire to grow and learn is combined with a real commitment to do what it takes to get there, it opens out a world of previously unimagined possibilities.
Nothing in the world gives her more satisfaction than harnessing the power of this knowledge to guide her clients on their own personal journeys of self-discovery. When she sees the sparkle return to their eyes and feels their perspective on themselves and the wider world shifting for the better, she knows they are on the right path.
She’s committed, courageous and authentic and believes that most of us are if we let ourselves be. To her, people are like a delicious mille feuille – they possess thousands of layers, just waiting to be discovered and enjoyed. Her own experiences have taught her that so much of your potential is smothered in an ‘impossibility blanket’ of your own making.
It’s time to throw that life-limiting security blanket off!
With a degree in Political Science & Sociology and an MBA, Suparna spent years working in Sales & Marketing for News Agencies & PR Companies. Her most recent jobs have included work as a Digital Media Strategist and HR Consultant.
